2002 Ducati Evoluzione
  • The Mike Hailwood 900 Evoluzione began as a concept created by Ducati designer Pierre Terblanche in homage to Mike Hailwoods 1978 Isle of Man TT win
  • The sale of the MH900E was done via the internet in a form of ecommerce known as B2C (Business to Consumer), a risky move in 2000
  • The total production run of 2000 units were sold to people from 20 different countries
  • The MH900E was built around the same engine as found on the Ducati 900SS
  • The first 1,000 units were sold out in 31 minutes
  • Many of these are considered pieces of art decorating the walls of homes, offices, and shops
