Motorcycle Monday: Keanu Reeves’ Accidents
Everyone knows Keanu Reeves is a rarity in Hollywood since he regularly rides his motorcycles, among other attributes. Sadly, the more you ride the more likely you are to get in an accident, and the movie star has seen his fair share of those, once even joking he was working just to pay his lofty motorcycle insurance. Despite his brushes or rather collisions with bodily pain, the man still rides because it’s in his blood. Sure, the normies won’t get it, but other enthusiasts do.
Flock Of Mopars Barn Find
Typically, when we see classic cars that have yet to be restored, one or two slightly cool models are hidden away from society for their excellent value. Rarely is a particularly rare or high performance uncovered by your average car guy or gal looking for an automotive adventure. However, one man, Automotive Archeology, has taken it upon himself to find some of the world's most excellent classic cars and is starting to run into some pretty wild vehicles. This particular collection is a perfect example of some of America's most iconic muscle and pony cars to ever see the open road. A few of these cars have even seen a cartoon road; we think you know what we mean when we say that.
Racer Crashes $30 Million Classic Ferrari
It seems like classic Ferrari crashes are a thing these days. In late June a driver crashed a Ferrari F40 at an event in Switzerland, leaving many absolutely stunned. Now a racer wrecked out in a one-off Ferrari 250 SWB Breadvan during the Le Mans Classic Race 2022 and it wasn’t exactly a small crash. The good news is the driver seems to have been unhurt in the accident and the car is salvageable instead of going up in flames or something horrible like that.
Porsche 959 S Gets A Factory Overhaul
With a mere 292 constructed, the Porsche 959 is a unicorn few Porsche enthusiasts will ever have the privilege of owning. Even seeing one can be a rarity, depending on where you frequent. That said, the 959 S or Sport is an even rarer bird with only 29 in existence. Porsche Classic recently revealed it did some work on former Formula One driver Nick Heidfeld’s personal 959 S which has shockingly few miles on it.
Dearborn Heights Police Sell Their Hellcat
Some police departments have been investing in some of the hotter Mopar muscle cars on the market, particularly the Hellcats before they get cancelled. Others have seized such fire-breathing Dodges, converting them into fleet vehicles for running down criminals. Then there’s Dearborn Heights Police which decided to auction off the Dodge Charger Hellcat it seized, we’re assuming to keep the fleet gassed up so they can actually respond to 911 calls.

Ferrari F40 Crashes In Switzerland
The Ferrari F40 is such a special car and with only 1,311 of them in existence they aren’t exactly plentiful. If you’ve been privileged enough to see one in person, especially as it’s being driven hard, it’s apparent how wonderful they are. Elvis Movie Sparks New Interest In Vintage Caddies
Elvis has recently been in the news for the new film Elvis which premiered in Australia to the excitement of eager audience members. While many Americans have yet to see the movie, the Aussies apparently had a great time. This is backed up by the fact that the rockstar's name has been brought to the center of nearly every conversation in the nation. That's right, this legendary musician is known for much more than just strutting his stuff and singing while performing karate. Here's one example of the recent development in the Elvis automotive story we should all be paying attention to.
Carvana, Vroom Are In Serious Trouble
For some time, upstarts Carvana and Vroom have been transforming how thousands of Americans buy their cars. Focusing on internet sales and non-traditional delivery methods, these chains enamored cynical consumers who were tired of the old dealership games. However, the revolution seems to be losing steam as problems for both companies accumulate. The question moving forward is will Carvana and Vroom be able to weather the storm, or is this curtains for the new kids on the block?
How Much Does It Really Cost To Build A Restomod?
Many automotive enthusiasts worldwide have taken a particular interest in a growing industry that makes it easier for people to achieve their dream resto-modded car. This is the custom classic car market specializing in creating tastefully designed works of automotive art, usually with some twist on the original. Typically these cars will boast a massive V8 engine under the hood, thousands of hours in exterior and interior design, and seemingly unending attention to detail. But, of course, this work adds up to a fairly hefty price tag for both the builder and owner of the incredible vehicle. So how much does it cost to put together a fully customized classic muscle or pony car?

For the 1969 year model, Pontiac produced 697 Firebird Trans Ams, including 8 total convertibles. All the Trans Am made for 1969 were Cameo White with Tyrol Blue accents, and almost all rolled on the optional Rally II wheels. What most of them didn’t have was the Ram Air V engine, actually, none of them had it, officially.
1968 Hemi Charger Aims For 200-MPH
We’ve all heard some crazy stories from the Bonneville salt flats of high-octane racers traveling at ridiculous speeds. While over teams aim for acceleration at a drag strip, these drivers and builds require top speed. Even the current world land speed record of over 763 miles per hour was set in a desert, which is a good case for many enthusiasts to get into the sport. Unlike most motorsports, these racers compete against their own records, which is why they have a reputation for making history in the automotive field. This particular car was built for the incredibly high speed of 200 mph but fell short of its mark before being hidden away for decades from the public.
