Description

Considered to be one of the most overlooked Classics, the CB550F is a bike that offers so much than meets the eye. The CB550K was introduced in 1974 as an update to the CB500 in the US market. The models were cosmetically similar; mechanically, aside from the extra 50cc displacement, significant improvements in the transmission. This fine example has a believed 4,675 original miles. All assembly line paint marks are in place, the factory Freedom Green Metallic paint is in astonishing condition in comparison to other survivors. Freshly service, this CB550F starts, runs and ride beautifully, everything feels tight and fresh! The original exhaust is intact but does have the normal rust along with seams, with emphasis on both upper pipes. This CB550F is a great representation of a true survivor grade example that you can hit the key on and enjoy today. A fully restored bike is wonderful, but after all, they are only original once and this is your opportunity to catch one of the few surviving examples left.
