"Vampire" V1000 Twin
- The Vampire was the brainchild of Formula 1 team owner Alexander Lord Hesketh who promised an all new British superbike in the Vincent mold
- An initial production run of 139 bikes was completed before the company went into receivership in 1982
- Later in 1982 Lord Hesketh purchased the defunct Hesketh Motorcycle Company back and produced another 40 updated V1000s with an aerodynamic fairing and called it the Vampire
- Its specs include a 992cc 8 valve Weslake V twin engine, a nickel plated Reynolds 531 frame, Brembo brakes, Marzocchi front forks, Dellorto carbs, Lucas Rita electronic ignition, Astralite wheels, and a large aerodynamic fairing
