Description

Harley Davidson racing dates back to shortly after they started production in 1903. From Hill Climbs to Board Tracks, then later on to the Flat Track, the Harley Davidson XR750 became a dominate force. Paying homage to the XR750 with a street legal version was the goal and the XR1000 was born. Using a Ironhead Sportster as the donor, the XR1000 received a number or factory bits to give the world a factory built "Street Tracker". This superb example is truly a museum quality pieces, a time capsule with only 924 original miles. The sportiest bike to leave the Harley factory in the 1980's, this collector grade XR1000 is the cream of the crop!
