Description

Rokon, probably best known for their 2 wheeled drive motorcycles, did push the envelope with their offering in the mid 1970's. They built a Street ST340, 340MX for motocross and scramble duty and the FT340 Flat Tracker you see here. Finding a way to bring the convenience of an automatic motorcycle to the market, while it sounds appealing, did have its hurdles. Lack of engine braking, subpar performance with the CVT Transmission, and lack of funding and development turned this project in early but none the less is a testament to thinking "outside" of the box. This completely restored FT340, is absolutely stunning. 1 of only 33 built, and many less known to exist, this maybe the finest left in the world. If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, collector and just have an eye for something different, this bike will satisfy! Flat Tracking racing and its history is mesmerizing, and this bike captures it in a whole.
