The Matchless G80 TCS Typhoon and AJS 18TCS were the fastest off-road version of the G80, with the largest engine, and the highest power-rating that was available to the general public. TCS, Typhoon Competition Scrambles was the ultimate desert sled of the late 1950's and intended for competition use. This outstanding example is an extremely rare specimen, production numbers over the 4 year span range from 125-300 with this early 1959 single down tube frame AJS 18TCS being the rarest of them all. The classic scrambler and off road motorcycle market is on the rise, this appreciating classic is great piece for any collector or rider.
