Purpose-built and professionally developed throughout its life, the Camaro is powered by a Wegner Automotive Research-built DZ-code small-block V8, originally a 302ci engine that has been professionally bored .030-inch over to 310 cubic inches. Producing a dyno-documented 609 horsepower at 8,200 RPM, the engine is backed by a Jerico dog-ring four-speed transmission, Peterson dry sump system, Penske adjustable suspension, and a fully sorted vintage racing chassis engineered for serious competition use.

Following retirement from active competition, the car underwent a comprehensive 2026 recommissioning through Stewart Black Performance, including a new fuel cell bladder, fresh fire system, driveline servicing, hydraulic refresh, ignition servicing, and fresh fluids throughout. With just 3.8 hours on the engine, this Camaro stands ready for its next chapter on track.
