The KZ900 LTD was Japan's very first factory custom based on the successful 900 Z1.
The brains behind the LTD belong to the late Wayne Moulton who cut his teeth on customization as owner of a Triumph dealership in the late 60's and early 70's (can you say Triumph X75) as a way to extend the life of the Z1.
The LTD used US based aftermarket suppliers such as BogeMulholland (rear shocks), Jardine (4 into 2 exhaust), Morris (wheels) and Goodyear (the raised white letter tires).
A total of 5,000 LTD's were made in 1976 in the Lincoln, Nebraska plant (2,000 for the US Market and 3,000 for other world markets).
