Description

When it comes to the automotive industry there are few names that carry the historical notoriety of the Ford Motor Company. Ford was the manufacturer responsible for introducing the first mass-produced and affordable automobiles to the general market essentially establishing the idea of putting an automobile in the driveway of every home in America. One of those classic models from the 1930's was the Ford Coupe. Ford introduced three new automobiles to the market between 1932 and 1934 the Model B the Model 18 and the Model 40. These new models were produced as successors to the popular Model A. In fact the four-cylinder Model B was designed to be cheaper than its eight-cylinder counterparts while offering more features than the previous Model A. However the eight-cylinder models popularity quickly eclipsed the need for the Model B eventually rendering it obsolete. This eight-cylinder all-black 1933 Ford Coupe is a perfect example of classic street rod style. This one-off rebuild has been modified and restored to its former glory. Powered by a 350 cubic inch small-block and featuring a Currie nine-inch rear end polished 150-inch Halibrand sprints and Tremec five-speed manual transmission this timeless piece of automobile history looks as mesmerizing today as it did when it came off the assembly line. This restored model has been featured in national publications and is one of the world's rarest most sought-after collector automobiles.
