Motus
MST-R
- The Motus was the first American made four cylinder street motorcycle built since World War II
- It was founded by two young engineers and constructed in Birmingham, Alabama at the original site of the Barber Motorsports Museum
- Powered by a V4 "Baby Block" with a pushrod two valve per cylinder configuration, the 1,650cc motor was conceived as a downsized (one half) GM LS V8 engine that powered decades of American performance cars
- The MST R is the world's fastest pushrod production motorcycle with class speed records at Bonneville of 165.81 mph and 168.69 mph
- The example shown here has the 185 hp engine and has never been titled (shows 12 miles)
- It is one of the last Motus MST R's produced before the company closed in August of 2018
